Chinese oolong tea is a kind of traditional Chinese tea which is also known as wulong tea.
Tea originated in China and has a history of more than 4,000 years. Chinese oolong tea was first to be produced also in China about 400 years ago. Legend goes that Wu Liang was the first cultivator of this tea. It was said that one day on his way home from picking mountain tea, he caught a river deer. At that night, he was so busy with the killing of the deer that he did not have enough time to dry the green tea leaves. The next day, he found that the green tea leaves had fermented via storing in a basket for a whole night. He fired the leaves and found that the tea tasted very good. That was the earliest form of oolong tea.
It has been deeply loved by Chinese since ancient times. Now, it also becomes one of the most famous teas in the worldwide. There are many famous oolong tea, such as Da Hong Pao, Tie Guan Yin, etc. According to research, it is good for human’s health.
