Fo Shou, literally means Buddha’s Hand, is a type of oolong tea from Yongchun of Fujian province, China. It is one of the most famous oolong tea in China. It got the name because the appearance of the tea leaves resembles the leaves of a fruit tree called Buddha’s hand.
The tea has thick, large and blackish green leaves. The brewed tea leaves are approximately as dark as the green with red lace along the leaf edges. It has lively aroma, sweet taste and hints of flowers and honey in the aftertaste.
Like other oolongs, it is wonderful through 2 or even 3 infusions.
