Oolong tea storage is quite important to preserve the color, flavor and nutrition of oolong tea. Generally, oolong tea can be kept for two to three years if stored properly.
Remember that tea is vulnerable to five elements, namely light, moisture, odor, air and heat. So the best way is to store the tea leaves in a container (The container can be made of bamboo, wood, clay, porcelain, or metal.) and keep it at room temperature with no direct exposure to sunlight.
There is no need to keep it in a store room or warehouse. Kitchen is another bad place to store it as the environment is very humid.
